Nepali Gods

Also known as

  • Deities?, Bhagwaan, Prabhu, Devi, Devata, Ishwor,

Every culture has some gods. Hinduism has a few million. All Nepalis are not exclusively Hindus; many are Buddhists and mostly all of the indigenous peoples are animists or have their own deities. However, the Hindu and Buddhist festivals are nationally celebrated. This page lists some of the more common ones. Some are hindu gods, some have hindu counterparts, some are completely unique to a particular religion and or culture.
